MBP Researchers Awarded Canada Research Chairs
Several MBP researchers have been awarded Canada Research Chairs by the Government of Canada.
The Canada Research Chairs Program reinforces and recognizes academic research and training excellence in Canadian postsecondary institutions. Chairholders aim to achieve research excellence in engineering and the natural sciences, health sciences, humanities, and social sciences.
New Canada Research Chairs within MBP
Dr. Maged Goubran has been awarded as a new Tier 2 Canada Research Chair in artificial intelligence and computational neuroscience.
Dr. Courtney Jones has been awarded as a new Tier 2 Canada Research Chair in leukemia stem cell metabolism.
Dr. Sushant Kumar has been awarded as a new Tier 2 Canada Research Chair in genomic medicine.
Dr. Vijay Ramaswamy has been awarded as a new Tier 2 Canada Research Chair in pediatric neuro-oncology.
Dr. Gregory Schwartz has been awarded as a new Tier 2 Canada Research Chair in bioinformatics and computational Biology.
Dr. Anastasia Tikhonova has been awarded as a new Tier 2 Canada Research Chair in stem cell niche biology.
