Exciting collaboration between Dr. Haibe-Kains, Dr. Pugh and Microsoft

MBP researchers Dr. Benjamin Haibe-Kains and Dr. Trevor Pugh have embarked on a collaboration with Microsoft to harness the power of AI and cloud computing that seeks to analyze large panels of cancer cells and determine the genomic aberrations predictive of drug response.

For this project Dr. Haibe-Kains and Dr. Pugh are leveraging Microsoft's 'Azure cloud technology' to create the first shared database for clinicians around the world to run biopsy results through an algorithm, which will greatly assist in treating cancer patients.
