Dr. Greg Stanisz Awarded Tier 1 Canada Research Chair

MBP scientist Dr. Greg Stanisz has been awarded a Tier 1 Canada Research Chair (CRC) in the field of Cancer Imaging.

The CRC is Canada’s highest research honour and recognizes scientists who ‘make important research contributions in areas of critical importance’ and who are ‘world leaders in their field’.

Tier 1 CRCs are ‘tenable for seven years and renewable once’. For each Tier 1 Chair, the institution receives $200,000 annually for the duration of the seven years.
