EDI & You: The Psychological Echo Chamber

All MBP Students* are invited to participate in an Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) focus group entitled "EDI & You: The Psychological Echo Chamber", brought to you by the Medical Biophysics Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Committee.

What is an 'echo chamber'? An environment where people only experience opinions that are similar to their own and where alternative and contradictory opinions are not considered.

At this session, you will:

• Discuss the concept of the 'echo chamber' as it relates to the experience of yourself and those around you.
• Experience willful awareness of your own 'echo chamber' and how it impacts your perceptions of the world.
• Engage in thoughtful conversation with MBP peers.
• Learn/discuss how to escape your own personal 'echo chamber'.
