MBP researchers Dr. Thomas Kislinger and Dr. Paul Boutros have released a new publication titled "The Proteogenomic Landscape of Curable Prostate Cancer".

This is the first large-scale proteogenomic study of localized prostate cancer, linking whole-genome sequencing of tumour & normal, deep RNA-Seq, methylome and whole-proteome mass-spec.

In this article, the data demonstrates that the prostate cancer proteome is shaped by the complex interplay of genomic, epigenomic, transcriptomic, and post-transcriptional dysregulation. Integration of data along the central dogma enables both a deeper biological insight and the development of multi-omic biomarkers with improved performance.
