New appointment: MBP welcomes Dr. Chenxi Qian

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Chenxi Qian, Assistant Professor, to the Department of Medical Biophysics.

Dr. Chenxi Qian received his Ph.D. in chemistry from the University of Toronto and carried out postdoctoral research with an NSERC Fellowship at the California Institute of Technology (Caltech). He is a Scientist in the Physical Sciences Platform at the Sunnybrook Research Institute, and has recently received an Early Career Investigator Award from the Ontario Institute of Cancer Research (OICR). His current research focuses on machine learning aided label-free imaging approaches for fundamental and clinical studies.
