Dr. Aaron Schimmer Appointed as Princess Margaret Cancer Centre Research Director
Medical Bipophysics researcher Dr. Aarom Schimmer has recently been appointed as Research Director at the Princess Margaret Cancer Research Centre.
At MBP, Dr. Schimmer 's lab is interested in chemical biology and drug discovery with a focus on the apoptosis pathway. Using automated and robotic equipment he screens chemical and siRNA libraries to identify chemical and genetic probes and use them as tools to better understand biological pathways with a focus on apoptosis and the pathogenesis of leukemia.
Dr. Schimmers new appointment will take effect Feb.15, 2019.
