The MoGen Graduate Student Association’s (GSA) Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) Committee, the Program in Genetic Counseling, and the Department of Molecular Genetics is proud to be hosting our next “EDI in STEM and Beyond” seminar. We are excited to welcome our next speakers, Dr. Lisa Richardson (Associate Dean, Inclusion & Diversity), Ike Okafor (Senior Officer for Service Learning and Diversity Outreach in FacMed)and Dr. Lisa Robinson (Vice Dean, Strategy and Operations) who will discuss EDI and Accessibility in the Faculty of Medicinehappening Thursday, April 28, 2022 from 5-6:30PM. We encourage students from all departments to attend!

In this seminar, we will learn about EDI in the Faculty of Medicine, including the ongoing programs and initiatives to support diversity and accessibility for current and future learners, followed by a panel discussion. Come out and learn about FacMed’s involvement in EDI-related issues and learn what steps students and faculty can take within their own sphere of influence to address EDI-related issues and increase accessibility in FacMed.
