MBP Faculty Members to Present at AACR Annual Meeting

Two Medical Biophysics researchers will be presenting talks at the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) Virtual Annual Meeting II, happening from June 22 to 24.

The AACR Annual Meeting program ‘covers the latest discoveries across the spectrum of cancer research—from population science and prevention; to cancer biology, translational, and clinical studies; to survivorship and advocacy—and highlights the work of the best minds in research and medicine from institutions all over the world’.

As a part of this event, Dr. Daniel de Carvalho will be presenting an opening plenary session entitled ‘Turning Science into Lifesaving Care’ and Dr. Aaron Schimmer is scheduled to deliver an educational session entitled ‘New Approaches to Target the Mitochondria in AML’.
