Dr. Steven Chan Receives Scotiabank Research Chair

MBP scientist Dr. Steven Chan has been named the Scotiabank Research Chair, a position that supports inflammation research relevant to both cancer and arthritis (or a related area).

Scotiabank Research Chairs are awarded to individuals who demonstrate ample contributions outside of the lab including leadership positions, program development, teaching, collaboration, and must be recognized internationally as leaders in their field.

The Chair position term is 5 years with the opportunity for one 5-year renewal.

Dr. Chan has been recognized for his proven track record of research excellence and scholarship.
