Inaugural Symposium, PhD Medical Physics Specialization
Are you interested in a career in medical physics?
The inaugural Symposium for the newly-created MBP Medical Physics PhD Specialization* will take place Friday, April 14th, 2023 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm at the Princess Margaret Foundation Meeting Space in the OPG building.
This event invites current and potential new graduate students to see all aspects of medical physics, starting from academic research and clinical care to roles in regulatory activities and industry, providing inspiration towards their future careers.
The Medical Physics PhD Specialization is created from a collaboration between the Department of Medical Biophysics and both Departments of Medical Physics at Sunnybrook-Odette and the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre. The program is designed to prepare students for a future in the medical physics profession, encompassing roles in research, clinical service, industry and government.

*The Medical Physics PhD Specialization has submitted an application for accreditation to the Commission for Accreditation of Medical Physics Education Programs (CAMPEP). Accreditation is anticipated in the spring of 2023.
