This is a required course for all Cell and Molecular Biology
and Molecular and Structural Biology stream students intending to complete
a Ph.D. program, and is to be taken only in the Ph.D. program. It will
consist of 8-9 intensive tutorial segments pertaining to gene therapy,
signal transduction, metastasis, angiogenesis, oncogenic viruses, chemotherapy,
and chromatin dynamics. Each segment will centre around a key unanswered
question or current area of research, and will involve 4 hours of formal
tutor-student contact time and student preparation time of 4 to 6 hours.
