On-Location Accessibility Services Advisor
The School of Graduate Studies and the Department of Medical Biophysics are very pleased to announce that Sandra Hohener will be serving the graduate community as an On-Location Accessibility Advisor at SGS Student Academic Services, 63 St. George Street beginning September 17, 2018.
Sandra is one of ten new on-location advisors assigned by Accessibility Services to various sites across St. George campus and she comes to U of T with tremendous insight into the many ways that mental health and accessibility issues intersect. For the last 16 years, she has worked at the Toronto branch of the Canadian Mental Health Association, where she has helped individuals who suffer from severe and persistent mental illness to overcome barriers to employment and find accommodations in the workplace. We welcome her expertise and look forward to her contributions as we work together to promote academic success among all our students.
For the 2018-19 academic year, Sandra will not be seeing students on a drop-in basis, but will be accepting referrals. Should any students require academic accommodations, please visit Accessibility Services.
